What temperature does ArcticPod reach?
Filled with cold tap water and 4 to 6 bags of ice, ArcticPod consistently holds 39 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit (4 to 10 degrees Celsius), the exact range proven in cold therapy studies. With a chiller (sold separately), you can lock it lower.
How long does the cold last?
The triple-layer insulation keeps water cold for 6 to 8 hours after icing. Most users plunge in the morning and again in the evening on the same fill.
What are the dimensions?
Outer: 30 inches diameter, 28 inches tall. Inner: 25 inches diameter, 26 inches deep. Holds 80 gallons. Fits adults up to 6 feet 4 inches.
How much does it weigh empty?

How long does setup take?

Is cold plunging safe?
For healthy adults, yes. Cold therapy is well studied. If you have heart conditions, high blood pressure, Raynaud's, or are pregnant, consult your doctor first. Never plunge alone in extreme cold.

Is ArcticPod covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every ArcticPod includes a 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects. Punctures from misuse are not covered, but a repair patch kit is included.
Care and maintenance
How often do I need to change the water?
If you add 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide or use chlorine tablets, water stays clean for 2 to 4 weeks. Otherwise, drain and refill weekly.
Can I leave it outside?
Yes. ArcticPod is UV-resistant and weatherproof. In freezing climates, drain and store indoors when not in use to prevent ice damage.
Do I need a chiller?
No. Ice from a bag works perfectly. A chiller is only needed if you want to plunge daily without buying ice or hit temperatures below 39 degrees.
